Soho House, following its recent privatization, is making substantial investments in its renowned art collection, which is poised to reach an impressive 15,000 pieces within the next five years. This expansive collection, a cornerstone of the member experience, is meticulously curated by Chief Art Director Kate Bryan, who prioritizes direct engagement with artists and galleries. Rather than acquiring works through auctions, each piece is carefully chosen to enhance the unique character of individual Soho House locations, fostering a dynamic environment where members can interact directly with art. The collection's philosophy underscores its role as a living exhibition, with artworks always on display and frequently loaned to prominent museums, reinforcing Soho House's commitment to supporting and showcasing artistic talent globally.

Soho House Elevates Art Presence in Key Locations, Embracing Diverse Artistic Expressions

As of February 24, 2026, Soho House is actively redefining its art identity across its global network, with particular focus on its West Hollywood and Miami Beach establishments, both inaugurated in 2010. In West Hollywood, a monumental commission by acclaimed L.A. artist Eric Uhlir now captivates visitors. This four-panel painting, stretching an impressive 65 feet in length and 6.5 feet in height, gracefully adorns the grand entry staircase. Uhlir's distinctive style, which merges pop culture with classical painting techniques, offers a compelling visual narrative that abstracts history, nature, and contemporary elements on a cinematic scale. Concurrently, Soho Beach House in Miami has undergone a significant artistic refresh. Under Bryan's curatorial guidance, the Miami collection now features an international array of photography, reflecting the city's burgeoning art scene and its pivotal role as host to Art Basel. The revitalized collection showcases a harmonious blend of renowned artists such as Isaac Julien, JR, Laurie Simmons, and Marilyn Minter, alongside emerging talents like Sarah Maple, Cornelius Tulloch, Anna Carey, and Marcus Maddox. These artists explore a diverse range of photographic mediums, including polaroid, performance-based imagery, collage, cameraless photography, solarisation, digital manipulation, hand-printed works, lenticular, and fabric and wood-based prints. This strategic enhancement mirrors the evolving art landscapes of both Los Angeles and Miami, transforming Soho House venues into vibrant cultural hubs that resonate with the spirit of each location. Looking ahead, Soho House plans to open its 50th House in Tokyo by April 2026, alongside new properties in Palm Springs, Sonoma, and upstate New York, further expanding its global artistic footprint.

This ambitious artistic expansion by Soho House offers a fresh perspective on how private member clubs can transcend traditional hospitality to become significant patrons and promoters of contemporary art. By fostering direct relationships with artists and prioritizing the display and integration of art into the daily lives of its members, Soho House challenges the conventional gallery model. This approach not only provides a dynamic platform for artists but also cultivates a deeply immersive cultural experience for its community. The emphasis on local talent and the global exchange of artistic ideas demonstrate a forward-thinking vision that enriches both the art world and the social fabric of its diverse locations. It underscores the potential for private entities to play a crucial role in making art accessible and engaging, fostering a vibrant dialogue between creation and appreciation.
