The Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival (CPH:DOX) has renewed its collaboration with European Film Promotion (EFP) for the second edition of their 'Europe! Docs' program. This year's 'Europe! Docs' online presentation features six European documentaries carefully selected from the CPH:DOX lineup. Each of these films is a world premiere and competes in the festival's prestigious DOX:AWARD section. Among the highlighted films is Nathan Grossman's 'Amazomania' (Sweden, France, Denmark, 2026), which revisits footage from a 1996 expedition to document the isolated Korubo people, prompting a re-evaluation of that initial encounter and its subsequent ramifications. 'Arctic Link' (Switzerland, 2026), a hybrid documentary by Ian Purnell, delves into the conflicting hopes and fears surrounding a fiber-optic cable project connecting a remote Alaskan community. Karl Friis Forchhammer's 'Christiania' (Denmark, 2026) offers an insider's view of Copenhagen's 50-year-long experiment in communal living, exploring its blend of idealism, creativity, and inherent challenges. Nolwenn Hervé's 'The Cord' (France, 2026) is a poignant portrayal of a 'maternity warrior' in Venezuela's struggling healthcare system, striving to preserve the bond between pregnant women and their infants.
