The initiative reflects CAA's commitment to adapting to the dynamic entertainment industry, where the lines between content creation and brand integration are increasingly blurring.

Driving Innovation Through Strategic Alliances

Expanding Influence in a Changing Media Landscape

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has announced the addition of industry leaders Casey Leddy, Jim Morris, and Kris Wallis to its Entertainment Partnerships team. This strategic expansion is designed to amplify the agency's efforts in forging impactful alliances between its talent roster and prominent brands across the diverse realms of film, television, and emerging digital platforms. The move underscores CAA's proactive approach to navigating the rapidly evolving entertainment sector.

Leadership's Vision for Growth and Collaboration

Scott Iason and Margo Plotkin, who jointly head the sales operations for CAA's Entertainment Partnerships, emphasized the significance of these new hires. They highlighted that the arrival of Leddy, Morris, and Wallis marks a period of significant growth and momentum for the division. Each new executive brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in cultivating successful brand and content collaborations, which will be crucial in expanding the department's reach and establishing meaningful partnerships between commercial entities and high-quality entertainment offerings.

Adapting to the New Creator Economy

This expansion comes at a time when CAA is actively refining its strategies for content development, brand integration, and cross-platform ventures. The agency is keenly focused on facilitating the creation, financing, and marketing of cinematic productions, television series, and digital content. The contemporary Hollywood environment is witnessing a surge in the creator economy, where brand narratives are woven directly into film, TV programs, and social media. This shift empowers leading talent and storytellers to transcend traditional endorsements, evolving into brand creators and entrepreneurs themselves.

Casey Leddy: A Leader in Branded Content Integration

Casey Leddy's distinguished career includes a recent tenure at BENlabs, where she was instrumental in orchestrating branded integrations across film, television, and streaming content. Prior to this, Leddy held executive roles at prestigious studios such as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Disney, and Twentieth Television. Her extensive background provides a strong foundation for driving innovative brand integration strategies within CAA.

Jim Morris brings a wealth of experience in brand partnerships, having spearheaded collaborations with major companies in the automotive, consumer goods, and fashion sectors. His impressive resume includes roles at the Walt Disney Studios, Delta Air Lines, Paramount Pictures, the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music, and Teleflora. Notably, at Disney, Morris was pivotal in a large-scale integrated campaign for Toyota's Highlander brand, supporting the film Muppets Most Wanted, showcasing his ability to blend brand promotion with entertainment content effectively.

Kris Wallis: Pioneering Theatrical Promotions and Licensing

Kris Wallis contributes significant expertise in theatrical promotions, branded integrations, consumer licensing, and media production. Before joining CAA, she served as Senior Vice President of Partnership Marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment's Screen Gems and TriStar Pictures. In this role, Wallis led impactful movie campaigns for globally recognized brands such as Revlon, L’Oréal, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, PepsiCo, Adidas, Porsche, and American Express. Her previous work at Warner Bros. Pictures also involved overseeing promotional campaigns for major studio releases, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Resident Evil, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Jumanji, and Ghostbusters, demonstrating her prowess in linking brands with high-profile cinematic ventures.

Forging Powerful Alliances with Premier Brands and Talent

The expanded Entertainment Partnerships department at CAA is dedicated to collaborating with an elite roster of brands and talent. This includes partnerships with global icons like Ariana Grande, prominent production houses such as Shondaland, renowned television personalities like Jimmy Fallon, and leading digital platforms such as Apple TV and Disney.
