Other significant topics include the health and pension benefits, windows of exclusivity for actors, and increased residuals from streaming platforms.

The impending Writers Guild of America (WGA) negotiations, scheduled to begin shortly, influenced the timing of SAG-AFTRA's recent discussions. The WGA's contract is set to expire on May 1, followed by the Directors Guild of America (DGA) talks on May 11. Both the DGA and SAG-AFTRA agreements conclude on June 30, setting a busy period for labor relations within the entertainment industry.
