Disney Dominates Children's & Family Emmy Awards, 'Descendants: The Rise of Red' Takes Top Honors

The 4th Annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards, hosted in New York City, showcased a significant triumph for Disney, which garnered an impressive 19 awards. HBO Max's iconic "Sesame Street" continued its legacy of excellence with four wins, including Outstanding Preschool, Children's or Family Viewing Series, and an award for its engaging short-form content, further cementing its role in educational entertainment.

The event also celebrated individual talents, with Ana Gasteyer recognized for her voice work in "RoboGobo" and John Lithgow for "Spellbound." Bill Nye received a Lifetime Achievement Award, and John Tartaglia hosted the ceremony, bringing together a diverse array of talent in children's and family programming.
