Arc Raiders: High-Gain Antenna Project Guide
Amy HennigRenowned video game writer and director, known for her narrative work on the "Uncharted" series.
The High-Gain Antenna project in Arc Raiders, introduced with the recent Flashpoint update, challenges players to assemble a sophisticated Arc-detecting device. Much like the previous Trophy Display initiative, this new endeavor demands the acquisition of numerous distinct components, including newly introduced materials. This guide outlines the three construction phases, the necessary items for each, and the corresponding rewards. While this project is nominally shorter than others, such as the Weather Monitor, the scarcity and quantity of required resources will necessitate significant time investment. Players are encouraged to proactively collect materials for subsequent stages and store them in their inventory.
Detailed Breakdown of Arc Raiders High-Gain Antenna Construction
To expedite the collection of rare Arc materials, it is highly advisable to engage in missions under the "Close Scrutiny" map condition. This environmental modifier significantly boosts the drop rate of Arc materials and increases the prevalence of advanced Arc machines, including Surveyors and the formidable Vaporizers.
The High-Gain Antenna project unfolds across three distinct phases:
Phase 1: Sturdy Base
For the initial phase, players must gather the following:
- 50 units of Arc Alloy: A common component salvaged from any Arc machine or obtained by recycling other Arc materials.
- 10 units of Arc Flex Rubber: A rare component typically found by dismantling high-tier Arc machines such as Bastions, Bombardiers, Leapers, and Sentinels.
- 10 units of Arc Performance Steel: Another rare resource, acquired from high-tier Arc machines, including Bastions, Bombardiers, Leapers, Sentinels, Hornets, and Surveyors.
- 15 units of Advanced Arc Powercell: A rare power source retrieved from high-tier Arc machines like Comets, Bastions, Bombardiers, Leapers, Sentinels, Hornets, and Surveyors.
Upon successful completion of this phase, players will be rewarded with 1 Torrente II, 1 Extended Medium Mag III, 1 Extended Barrel, and 1 Padded Stock.
Phase 2: Data Logger
The second stage demands an even more specialized collection:
- 15 units of Arc Coolant: A rare liquid component found in mid-tier Arc machines such as Comets, Fireballs, Pops, Sentinels, and Surveyors.
- 15 units of Arc Thermo Lining: A rare insulating material extracted from mid-tier Arc machines including Comets, Fireballs, Pops, Snitches, Ticks, Turrets, and Wasps.
- 4 Vaporizer Regulators: These critical parts are obtained by eliminating and salvaging Vaporizers, which frequently appear during "Close Scrutiny" map conditions and resemble Rocketeers.
- 6 Assessor Matrices: Collected from Arc Assessors encountered during "Close Scrutiny" map conditions.
Completing this phase yields 1 Bobcat III, 1 Extended Light Mag III, 1 Vertical Grip III, and 100 Raider Tokens.
Phase 3: Parabolic Dish
The final phase requires the most challenging components:
- 10 Surveyor Vaults: Acquired by destroying and looting the large, spherical Surveyor machines, commonly found during "Close Scrutiny" raids.
- 20 units of Arc Synthetic Resin: A rare polymeric material found in mid-tier Arc machines like Sentinels and Shredders, as well as Snitches, Spotters, Turrets, and Wasps. It can also be found within Baron and Deforester Husks.
- 15 Vaporizer Regulators: Another set of regulators, obtained by dispatching Vaporizers during "Close Scrutiny" map conditions.
- 18 Assessor Matrices: Additional matrices looted from Arc Assessors during "Close Scrutiny" encounters.
The rewards for completing the final phase include 1 Vita Spray, 1 Photoelectric Cloak, 1 Snap Hook, and 400 Raider Tokens.
While this project does not culminate in a single grand prize like previous undertakings, the individual stage rewards are substantial. The accumulation of 400 Raider Tokens and a selection of rare weapon attachments provides a compelling incentive for players to engage with the High-Gain Antenna project. For those who enjoy thorough completion or seek to enhance their arsenal with valuable upgrades, this project offers a rewarding challenge within the evolving world of Arc Raiders.
