VideoAmp, a prominent technology firm specializing in media measurement, has announced the strategic hiring of Andrea Zapata. This move signals VideoAmp's commitment to evolving its market approach and solidifying its position as an innovator in media effectiveness.

Leading the Charge in Media Measurement Innovation

A New Era for Agency Engagement

Andrea Zapata, a distinguished figure in the dynamic fields of audience insights and measurement, has officially joined VideoAmp. In her new capacity as Senior Vice President of Agency Partnerships, Zapata will be instrumental in forging and nurturing relationships with media agencies and advertisers. She will report directly to Bryan Gorski, the company's chief revenue officer, underscoring the significance of her role in VideoAmp's strategic direction.

The Strategic Vision of Andrea Zapata

Bryan Gorski highlighted Zapata's unique qualifications, emphasizing her profound understanding of the market, strategic acumen, and extensive background in data, measurement, and media. He noted her keen awareness of the challenges faced by agencies, the performance expectations from advertisers, and the transformative potential as the industry progresses toward a more integrated and intelligent future. This alignment of expertise and vision is expected to drive significant advancements for VideoAmp.

Expanding VideoAmp's Market Footprint

Zapata's arrival coincides with VideoAmp's intensified efforts to cultivate stronger ties with agencies and advertisers, aiming to broaden the adoption of its platform among buy-side entities. Earlier this year, VideoAmp expanded its cross-platform planning technology by integrating first-party data from SiriusXM Media and National CineMedia. The company boasts an impressive portfolio of collaborations with industry leaders such as AMC Networks, Disney, Fox, Paramount, and Snap.

Leveraging Past Experiences for Future Success

Before joining VideoAmp, Zapata held the position of vice president of advertising data, measurement, and partnerships at T-Mobile Advertising Solutions. Her career also includes a significant tenure as Warner Bros. Discovery’s executive vice president of ad sales research, measurement, and insights. During her time there, she played a pivotal role in spearheading the company's adoption of diverse measurement technologies during the 2023 upfront cycle, showcasing her innovative approach to media solutions.

Driving Industry Transformation

Zapata expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating that her close work with both buyers and sellers has provided her with a clear perspective on the market's evolving needs. She acknowledged the increasing pressure on agencies to deliver superior outcomes in an automated, data-driven media landscape. Zapata was particularly drawn to VideoAmp's forward-thinking approach, its robust infrastructure, interoperability, and API-first platform, which she believes are crucial for enabling agencies and advertisers to operate with enhanced speed, clarity, and accountability. She looks forward to leading this next phase of industry evolution.
