VinFast Auto Ltd is actively pursuing market expansion and demonstrating robust performance in its vehicle deliveries. The company recently entered a strategic partnership with PlusX Electric, an EV charging provider, to bolster its charging infrastructure and customer service in the UAE. This collaboration is set to improve the electric vehicle ownership experience through various initiatives. Simultaneously, VinFast has reported significant growth in its domestic market, with a considerable year-over-year increase in EV deliveries in Vietnam during January 2026, highlighting the strong demand for its diverse range of electric vehicles.

On February 23, VinFast Auto Ltd forged a crucial Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PlusX Electric, a DEWA-approved EV charging service provider in the UAE. This partnership is designed to broaden access to charging facilities and enhance customer support for VinFast EV owners in the region. The core objective is to deliver a superior EV ownership experience, underpinned by reliable charging solutions, comprehensive roadside assistance, and advanced digital integration.

The agreement between VinFast and PlusX Electric outlines several key initiatives. These include the deployment of portable charging pods and the provision of on-demand mobile charging services. Furthermore, both companies will explore the feasibility of offering emergency roadside charging services to ensure continuous support for EV users. PlusX Electric is also positioned to become a preferred partner for the supply, installation, and after-sales support of home and office chargers. For fleet customers, the collaboration will focus on developing scalable solutions, such as leasing options for DC fast-chargers and dedicated mobile charging services, addressing the unique needs of commercial operations.

Beyond infrastructure, VinFast and PlusX Electric intend to explore deeper digital integration, introduce attractive insurance offerings, and pursue co-branding opportunities. These efforts aim to create a cohesive and seamless electric vehicle ecosystem for customers across the UAE, providing added value and convenience to EV ownership.

In parallel with its strategic expansion, VinFast Auto Ltd announced impressive delivery figures for January 2026 in its home market of Vietnam. The company reported a remarkable 55% year-over-year increase in electric vehicle deliveries, totaling 16,172 units. Among its models, the Limo Green emerged as the top seller, with 3,868 units delivered. The VF 3 model secured the second spot with 3,185 deliveries, followed by the VF 5 model with 2,737 units. Additionally, the VF 6 and VF 7 models contributed significantly with 2,485 and 975 deliveries, respectively. Newer models like the Minio Green and EC Van also saw strong initial uptake, with 1,237 and 865 units delivered, respectively, in the same month.

VinFast Auto Ltd, headquartered in Hai Phong City, Vietnam, is a prominent electric vehicle manufacturer with a diverse product portfolio that includes electric buses, cars, and scooters. The company also provides essential battery leasing and charging services, establishing itself as a comprehensive player in the EV market. The recent developments, including strategic partnerships and a surge in vehicle deliveries, underscore VinFast's commitment to growth and its expanding presence in both domestic and international markets, reinforcing its position as a key innovator in the electric mobility sector.
