A recent update for the popular game Splatoon 3, labeled Version 11.0.1, has been rolled out to address a series of technical issues. This corrective patch aims to enhance the overall stability and playability of the game by rectifying specific glitches that have affected both player control mechanics and the multiplayer environment. This follows a larger content update delivered in the preceding month, which brought notable additions such as health indicators.

Nintendo's official support channels have provided details regarding the nature of these corrections. The update specifically targets unintended behaviors observed in the game's Blaster weapon category. For instance, an issue where Blaster shots impacting surfaces resulted in a disproportionately large explosion detection area for opposing players has been fixed. Additionally, an anomaly causing the controller to vibrate when certain Blaster projectiles struck terrain has been resolved. The patch also standardizes the audio feedback for S-BLAST '91 and S-BLAST '92 shots, ensuring that the sound effect for hitting objects matches the one for aerial explosions.

Beyond weapon-specific adjustments, the update also tackles a visual inconsistency in the multiplayer mode. Previously, the ink generated around a player upon activating or extending their Flow Aura was not consistently visible to other participants in the game. This discrepancy has now been corrected, leading to a more consistent visual experience for all players during online matches. The developers have noted that this Version 11.0.1 is compatible with battle replays from Version 11.0.0, though not with those from earlier iterations.

This latest release underscores an ongoing commitment to refining the gaming experience for the player base. These targeted fixes are designed to improve gameplay precision and ensure a more equitable competitive environment, allowing players to focus on strategic depth without encountering unexpected technical hindrances.
