Nintendo has scheduled a dedicated Nintendo Direct broadcast this week to unveil further details about its highly anticipated single-player survival adventure, 'Splatoon Raiders.' This concise 15-minute presentation, slated for June 30 at 7 a.m. PDT / 10 a.m. EDT, promises to offer an in-depth look at the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, hinting at new gameplay elements and the series' signature aquatic wordplay.

Beyond the initial Direct, Nintendo will also provide an extensive gameplay showcase for 'Splatoon Raiders' through a new Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast. This follow-up title to 'Splatoon 3,' which was first revealed last June shortly after the Nintendo Switch 2's launch, invites players to embark on a treasure hunt across the perilous Spirhalite Islands. Gamers will assume the role of a mechanic assisting the Deep Cut trio—Frye, Shiver, and Big Man—in constructing imaginative devices and unique paint-flinging tools, all while fending off aggressive Salmonids, familiar foes from 'Splatoon 2' and 'Splatoon 3's Salmon Run modes.

'Splatoon Raiders' is slated for an exclusive release on Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23. Concurrent with the game's launch, Nintendo will introduce a collection of new amiibo figures featuring the 'Splatoon Raiders' renditions of Frye, Shiver, and Big Man, who previously received amiibo treatments in 2023 for 'Splatoon 3.' Additionally, new Joy-Con 2 controllers in a distinct blue and light yellow color scheme will be available. The digital edition of 'Splatoon Raiders' will be priced at $49.99, while the physical version will retail for $59.99, aligning with Nintendo's updated pricing structure. Each 'Splatoon Raiders' amiibo will be available for $24.99.

This comprehensive unveiling demonstrates Nintendo's commitment to delivering innovative and engaging gaming experiences. The blend of a focused Direct, an extended Treehouse: Live segment, and accompanying merchandise reinforces the excitement surrounding 'Splatoon Raiders,' setting the stage for a memorable launch that will undoubtedly captivate fans and usher in new adventures on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.
