The highly anticipated 'Marathon' Server Slam is imminent, providing an exclusive opportunity for players to experience Bungie's upcoming extraction shooter. This pre-launch open beta offers a brief yet comprehensive introduction to the game's mechanics and world.

Scheduled to commence on Thursday, February 26, at 1 p.m. EST, the 'Marathon' Server Slam will accommodate a global audience. Players in different time zones can join the action at various local times: 10 a.m. PST for North America's west coast, 3 p.m. BRT for Brazil, 6 p.m. GMT for the United Kingdom, 7 p.m. CET for western Europe, 3 a.m. JST on Friday, February 27, for Japan, and 5 a.m. AEDT on Friday, February 27, for Australia's east coast. This free event will run for four days, concluding on Monday, March 2, allowing participants across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X to dive in without prior purchase.

During the Server Slam, participants will gain access to a significant portion of the game's content, including two distinct zones, five factions, and five unique Runner shells, though not the entirety of the final release. While progress from this playtest will not transfer to the full game, players have the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards, such as deluxe weapons, upon reaching level 30 within the four-day period. This event is designed to give players a comfortable yet tantalizing glimpse into the 'Marathon' universe.

This early access event for 'Marathon' represents a pivotal moment for both developers and the gaming community. It not only offers a chance to fine-tune the game's performance and gather crucial feedback but also builds excitement and anticipation among players. Such opportunities foster a sense of community and shared experience, allowing gamers to contribute to the refinement of a new title while enjoying a sneak peek at its potential. Engaging with these playtests reflects a positive and constructive interaction between creators and consumers, promoting a collaborative spirit in the evolution of interactive entertainment.
