Imax has announced that its Chief Executive Officer, Richard Gelfond, is temporarily stepping away from his duties due to pneumonia. This medical leave will necessitate his absence from all corporate engagements, both public and private, including the significant industry event, CinemaCon, scheduled for April in Las Vegas.

To ensure clarity and avoid any unfounded rumors surrounding his temporary departure, Imax released a statement to inform stakeholders.
