A highly anticipated crossover event is set to return to the world of Eorzea, as Square Enix officially announced the re-launch of the 'Nocturne for Heroes' event in Final Fantasy XIV. This special engagement, featuring Noctis, the main character from Final Fantasy XV, was previously seen in 2024 and is now making its way back for a limited duration. Fans eager to re-experience this unique collaboration or participate for the first time should mark their calendars.

The event is scheduled to commence on September 24, 2026, at 1:00 a.m. PDT, concluding on October 13, 2026, at 7:59 a.m. PDT. This limited timeframe means adventurers will have only a few weeks to delve into the event's story and collect its exclusive offerings. Initiating the quest, titled 'The Man in Black,' requires players to be at least Level 50 and to have finished the main scenario quest 'The Ultimate Weapon.' The quest giver, Kipih Jakkya, can be found in Ul'dah near the Steps of Nald. For those who have already completed the event in previous iterations, an NPC will provide access to a seasonal event replay feature, allowing them to revisit the narrative and rewards.

A treasure trove of limited-time items awaits participants. Among the most sought-after rewards is the Regalia Type-G mount, praised as one of the game's finest mounts, obtainable for 200,000 MGP from the Ironworks Vendor. Additionally, players can acquire a variety of Noctis-themed attire, including the Lucian Prince's Jacket, Fingerless Glove, Bottoms, and Boots, all available as quest rewards. The Modern Aesthetics – Lucian Locks hairstyle and the Noctis Lucis Caelum Card can be purchased with MGP, while several Orchestration Rolls, such as 'Hammerhead,' 'Valse di Fantastica,' and 'Veiled in Black,' are exchanged for Unidentified Magitek at the Ironworks Hand. It's an opportunity not to be missed for collectors and enthusiasts of both Final Fantasy titles.

This recurring event not only enriches the lore and content of Final Fantasy XIV but also fosters a sense of community and excitement among its player base. The chance to engage with characters and elements from another beloved Final Fantasy installment highlights the expansive and interconnected universe Square Enix has cultivated. By offering exclusive items and a compelling storyline, these events encourage exploration, collaboration, and a deeper appreciation for the artistry and dedication behind these iconic games. Such initiatives ensure that the vibrant world of Eorzea remains a dynamic and engaging realm for all its Warriors of Light.
