In February 2026, following a search warrant, the FBI confiscated several devices from a location tied to these Apple and T-Mobile accounts. One device reportedly contained communications coordinating the malware scheme and records of Bitcoin transactions from the co-conspirator to a Signal user identified as "Sibel.eth." Further investigation revealed that the Bitcoin wallet receiving these payments was utilized to procure over 150 gift cards.
