Dina Duma's film, "Skateboarding Is Not for Girls," a project that earned the Female Voices CineLink Award, tells the story of Adela, an 11-year-old whose passion for skateboarding becomes a beacon of hope amidst family struggles. Her devotion to her elder sister, Zara, is tested when their mother, grappling with financial ruin after their father's departure, is compelled to arrange Zara's marriage for a dowry.
